Agita Labs is seeking a Privacy Technology Advisor to help us launch our new technology into privacy-oriented vertical markets. Ideally, persons applying for this position should be passionate about data privacy and security, have an understanding of the current data privacy needs of our target markets, and have a large network that can be leveraged to promote our technology to strategic partners and clients. Target markets for Agita Labs are healthcare, government agencies, and financial markets.
About Agita Labs
Agita Labs is a small, fast-paced startup based out of Ann Arbor, MI founded by computer architecture and security researchers from the University of Michigan. Our flagship product is a cloud-based privacy-enhanced computation platform, which aims to facilitate the creation of new data markets through cutting-edge privacy-enhanced computing technology. On our platform, one client’s sensitive data can be run through another’s algorithm or model without ever exposing the private data to any involved party (including us!).
Responsibilities:
- Identify key verticals and build use cases for Agita Labs technology
- Identify best revenue and licensing opportunities
- Provide advice and analysis that will help enable our business to expand into additional verticals
- Work with the Business Development team to craft a vertical-tailored marketing message
Required Qualifications:
- Experience and network contacts within privacy technology fields of healthcare, financial markets, and/or government agencies
- Experience transitioning early technologies into products within relevant application domains
- Experience in marketing hardware and cloud-based technology solutions to solve data privacy problems
This is a contract consulting position that is remote-friendly, with an eventual possibility of on-site work pending the safety of in-person meetings given the current status of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are closely monitoring the situation and don’t have any concrete plans to return to office as of yet, so any new employees would be included in the conversation of when on-site work would be viable, safe, and comfortable for everyone again.
